Description Chapter One-Eve

"Wow," Veston breathed, mouth agape and everything. Because, well, he was staring at the.....
....last tree standing. A huge apple tree, it was. The tree's leaves hung down, seeming to protect the casually flowing stream that ran beside the tree. The leaves formed a kind of 'protective barrier' around the stream. And even though it was harsh, cold winter, the leaves of the tree remained golden, some of the leaves red, and as the sunset was dawning, I could've sworn that I saw the tree shimmer in the bright, glorious sun.
I realize now how important that stream was for the tree. The stream was it's only source of life. And the tree protected the stream, and gave the stream oxygen so that life could live in it also. Fish life. Without each other, the tree and the stream would die like all the other ones did.
We both just stood there, speechless for a second or two. It seemed almost impossible to know what to say.
"It's...gorgeous," I finally stated. Ok, I said almost impossible.
"Yeah, it is."
At first I thought that Veston had said that, but then I reconsidered because the voice belonged to a female. And Veston's a dude. Yeah, I'm actually nice to my friends and with what I say.
"What did you say?" I asked Veston, to see if he knew anything.
"I didn't say anything, Kion."
"You didn't?"
"Nope."
".... ......Then who did?"
"I did!"
Suddenly, a girl with dirty-blond-almost-brown hair jumped down from the tree. She looked like a proud teen-ager. Like the kind that just don't give up, even if they should. With a sly smile on her face, she looked like she knew something that we didn't know. And perhaps should. It was very hard to guess her age because she was tall, yet had the eyes of an angel.
"I... am Eve."
Yeah right. When pigs fly.... which might happen soon.
"Like, Eve from the beginning?" I asked, careful to still be nice. There was no telling what this girl was like.
"No. I am Eve from the end."
"Ok," Veston started, "so is there a Adam from the end too?"
"Yes. He's not here at the moment. I can take a message for him if you want."
Veston exclaimed, "Sur--"
"No thank you." I cut him off. It seemed smart to me not to get in this mess in any way, shape, of form.

To be continued soon. (in this same deviation)
