when i first read their name i thought it was "blush invaders" but when i read it more carefully it was actually bluish invaders. oh-haha, my bad.
anywho, here's one of the bosses from the game, infected with blue paint.
i like to imagine that blue paint acts like the Venom Symbiote in Spider-man.
it needs a host to consume and completely alter, and it's going to be a royal pain to wash off.

Interesting take on the heroes who were turned evil by that Blue Slime. I like those vein things coming from their eyes, makes them really look brainwashed by that Slime or something.
For me though, I always thought of that Blue Slime to be more like the Control Horns in SD Gundam, or the Black Gears Virus in Digimon. As in its a type of Brainwashing substance that makes them turn evil, but they can still think for themselves and are self-conscious, and it can only be reversed by removing it, which isn't easy, but possible.
