1. enable search in widnows features.
2. sorry but that can't be fixed.
3. I just didn't theme that battery icon and won't be in the future since I don't work on Wave anymore.

I have just installed this theme, and i loved it. But the battery icon in system tray hasn't changed. Can you add an icon for battery?

Some oddness is going on, and I'm not really sure why:

I also am unable to see what I am typing when I do a search in the start menu. Any way to fix these errors? Yes, I have patched with UXT prior to installing this theme.

for those images, make sure to apply "top" theme...

And I did that on purpose for a technical reason, I don't plan to change that.

seajelly In reply to Seahorsepip [2012-10-28 00:17:11 +0000 UTC]

I had applied every theme, yes. The problem persists.
And after posting my comment, I read the other comments where you said that previously, so I'm sorry for mentioning it. I didn't know it was a style choice (in which case I do like it, but in your deviation comment you requested bugs to be brought to your attention, so I said it just in case it was a bug).

Seahorsepip In reply to seajelly [2012-10-28 09:47:30 +0000 UTC]

no problem, It's my fault that I had to make multiple styles to get the taskbar working, in my next theme that's all combined in 1 style.

I am running x64, in case this is important. Also, the start menu image remained unchanged.

Hey SP in the manual folder, which one is for the icons nav pane and window?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Seahorsepip In reply to yayme [2012-10-26 17:57:00 +0000 UTC]

you mean how to chaneg icons manually?
It's not possible, instead use the installer and check "icons" only, it'll patch your imageres.dll and imagesp1.dll

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

yayme In reply to Seahorsepip [2012-10-26 19:16:03 +0000 UTC]

okay, I wasn't sure about that. But I did it with custopack...but when I changed the shell32 manually i got Other User on my logon screen lol which wasn't there until after I changed the file. No worries I'll get it sorted(i hope)

How did you find Elementary Icons for Windows? I can only find them in .svg.

Help is much appreciated, great theme.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Seahorsepip In reply to fluff3N [2012-10-23 19:13:37 +0000 UTC]

I converted them myself a while ago
[link]
Here are the .ico files

If you just want them for win7, Install my wave theme and check only "icons" during install.
For win8 it's still work in progress.

Hi your theme is very good but as I do to activate the search of the start menu programs sorry for the bad English but I am using a translator

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Seahorsepip In reply to Mrwebo [2012-10-09 18:40:52 +0000 UTC]

I had it removed for technical reasons, you can still search in the startmenu, you just don't see what you actually search

Nice theme! Just a couple of cosmetic issues with the text. When I hover over over an item on the bookmarks toolbar or the status, the text is black. When I hover over the clock in the task-bar the date is legible but dark. Any suggestions on a quick fix. Here are some screen shots that demonstrate the effect.

Is there a way to get rid of the blue line that comes down over the start button? This VS would be perfect without it. Or could you make a version with just the grey taskbar instead of that blue/grey line being there?

Is there anyone who would know how to get rid of the blue line that comes down? It would be greatly appreciated.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Seahorsepip In reply to gjr5017 [2012-09-18 15:37:15 +0000 UTC]

It's not something you can just turn off, you have to modify the theme itself for it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gjr5017 In reply to Seahorsepip [2012-09-18 15:52:41 +0000 UTC]

I'm aware of that but I didn't know if there was a simple way to go about doing that, e.g. editing an image that is used for the task bar that's in the theme (not sure how themes work).
