Heart

A piece symbolizing a mended heart in the wake of a broken relationship. Although the romance is gone and hurt is incurred, the philosophy of love binds the romantic's heart, allowing him to move forward and heal despite that pain.

although it's very sculptural, I still consider it a painting. it was another one of my hanging banner peices—pieces that hung via large S-hooks on metal poles. On this one I added metal hardware like strips and chains to add to the composition a little.

I did this one right after Contemplating Uni-Verse, off of the scraps of canvas from that piece.

It's about four feet across. done in acrylic.
