I still thank people if they fave more stuff (and always give llama). But if I see on their profile that they don't want, then I don't. Points are something different imo. Someone payed for them. I personally don't want thanks, esp not for llamas. But people don't read

Its more about don't fav or watch me just because I gave you points. I give points for many reasons and none of them are about the "reward" being offered.
Doesn't really matter though. The majority of people don't read whats on a persons front page anyway. The number of different ways I have tried to encourage not having a comment box full of thank yous for (fill in the blank here) are numerous.
At the same time, I personally believe in saying thank you unless someones front page clearly states please don't. Of course I usually cruise through peoples galleries also, I don't just stop by to say thanks.

I thank only if someone faves lot of my art. I don't hate much when people thanks me for faves or watch. I hate when people thanks me for llama, and esp when they thank, put tons of emots and at the end, don't give llama

its the polite part of me that says I should resond but it is repetitive for everyone to do so, esp if you send out 1000 of the fuzzy things.

I was offline for few months last year and when I came back I had 3000 deviations to check (from my friends not groups) and almost the same number of activity. It took me almost 2-3 weeks to clean it, I thanked everyone. Then I realized that I don't do anything except thanking. And as you can see on my profile page, last few pages are full of thanks for llama. I can't answer anymore. Now, when someone fave or put me on their watch list I just send llama

I still can't believe I never thought of NOT responding with 'thank you' due to so amny others doing it, it creates a massive log.

LOL I've watched the message center lately, esp since I've been going through all my faves and giving llamas to some really good artists (sometimes its their art, sometimes a concept). And reading the reviews for this one really made me slap myself and go 'Duh!'
