a fantasy painting depicting a curious cat interupting a sibling discover the death of his sister.....Special thanks to Stven Stalhberg for helping make this painting a reality, he deserves all the credit, I am not a strong painter and that is well known. The cat is just adorable, despite the sade expression in his eyes. I think the anatomy of the foreground fairy might be off. It just seems awkward to me. Very nice painting though.

That's too beautiful. Your art just makes me want to write the story. Little kitty is prancing about, hunting little butterflies, when he stumbles upon this particular scene. Here, you can see how sad the little kitty (and maybe a little confused?) is when he finds the little fairy mourning for his lost sibling.

Thats a really sad picture...the cat's expression adds so much drama onto it. Especially since its something he probably shouldn't of seen. Detail in this scene is done quite well. Very nice job.

You could try to put a light filter with photoshop, centered in the fairy and then fade to 30% or something... maybe it could increase the contrast between the background, and the center figures...
