Been a long time since I've seen anything from you. What did you upgrade to?
I'm glad I finally got a new PC, I can render shit SOOOOOO much quicker at higher settings and I love it.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+, 3x1 Corsair DDR2 800 Single Channel, nVidia 8600GTS 512mb.

sentimentalfreak In reply to letmefragyou [2008-01-10 07:00:22 +0000 UTC]
nah, cheaper to buy parts seperately, I allready have like 50 cases, power supplies, hdds etc no point paying an extra 100% for prebuilt + I like playing with expensive lego

Yeah, built mine as well. Well mine was more expensive, motherboard was about 200, video card was like 150, CPU was around 200, then I bought a 10,000 Raptor which was like 200, but it was SOOO worth the power it has, then another SATA 3.0gb 250gb hard drive. Then I wanted a huge ass case, so I got this Full Tower ATX, which is made completely of Steel, and has 12 drive bays for expansion. And it has 6 front-side USB, which for some reason is hard to find on good cases. And I got a 750w power supply, that was like another 200 or something.
Basically, I went far out to get a good PC. I probably still could have gotten better, but meh.

It better, and I'll most likely upgrade my video card later on in the year since the new 9 Series nVidia cards will be coming out. The new I think it's the 9250 is basically two 8800GTXs cards SLI in one card.

there wont be a 9250, it's the 9800 GX2 which is two g92-450 cores sandwitched together.
