I see these kind of pics all over this site, and i usually pass them up, because its saturated with them, but my eye was hooked when i saw this one, i was amazed with the detail, and contrast. Yet so simple in shapes. I love it, keep up the work!

nice work. it reminds me of an ocean scene where a ship is found and the sunlight pierces through the gaps of where the ship has been cracked and destroyed. if a picture is worth a thousand words then a rendering is worth a thousand different imaginative thoughts on how it can be perceived.

First off, great composition with the close up of whatever the large body of objects is against itself further away in the distance.
The colours & atmosphere you've chosen do seem to complement each other nicely, and the general image definitely has that underwater 'feel' to it.
To pinpoint the cause of this effect, maybe the contrast of the light from behind the 'object' shining through, against to the dark, deep blue towards the left of the image which, to me, seems to represent the abyss or something like it. This is especially true as you have chosen to give the scene what looks like one point where all the light is all coming from, without which I feel the object would be hidden in the darkness of deep, unlit water. Eerie!
The actual model itself seems very much as if it's been cause in suspended animation, and given the scene and atmosphere, largely resembles a shoal of fish.
Finally, I enjoyed the unique attitude of making this kind of scene without too much 'techno' appeal as you find it so many other pieces here on deviantart (lots of stylish lines and unwanted, obtrusive text), instead you have concentrated on making the actual image more impressive, and I'm hugely envious of this, because personally I lack that skill

Maybe the typo shouldn't stand out so much, coz when I look at the main focus there's this little orange and blue bit in the corner of my eye. But that render and colours and the general feeling of that right hand side is beautiful...
