Description
"I don't want you to get hurt, but you have to understand... The more you annoy me the more I can't help thinking about deconstructing you, molecule by molecule, memory by memory... until there's nothing left but screaming, traumatized atoms."
Jean Grey/Phoenix from X-Men

Jean's posture projects a strong aura of unlimited power.
Her expression also looks as if she has completely accepted it and come into her own using the power; her appearance conveys utter surity.
At the same time, there is of course still the hint of the very unpredictable and willfully destructive nature of her powers, in the way her suit is (discreetly, but still) torn in places and the entire background is coming apart in glass and whirling ashes.
Looking at her face long enough, the line between positive confidence and pure destructive and maybe sadisticΒ urges almost becomes blurred, which highlights her personality really well.
