Awesome work! May I ask which software you use? I realise that it's your talent and not the software, but I'm just curious as I have ArtRage, Painter and Photoshop.Β

On this piece, I used Photoshop and Aaron Blaise cloud brushes for the foam on the water . This is almost a year old. Lately I've been using a program I wrote myself. But that's just for fun for me. Programming is another hobby of mine.Β Photoshop is a great tool. I've used Painter and ArtRage also, but if I had my pick, I'd go with Photoshop. I work large and it seems to be the most robust.Β And thanks for the compliment!

Β I haven't really used Photoshop to paint and use it for photography and darkroom stuff that I play with. I recently used Photoshop to paint a simple leaf and was surprised at how much I enjoyed using it in this way. I have also been watching a few videos and am feeling that it's time to give it a go. ArtRage has been left behind a bit and Painter is so confusing and crashes a lot!
Thanks for sharing that
, and you're welcome!
