im just loving this. Although i do have one thing to add and maybe im just an amatuaer who doesnt know much bout photoshop yet but the leaves and branches of the tree look like they need a bit of attention. well maybe not attention but it looks as if one took the spraypaint tool and very slowly created banches. It doesnt look out of place but...i dont know, maybe im wrong and your just way too superior for me to understand.

yeah. We just got tablets in our art class at school and i;ve been drooling over them ever since. I has no money for a tablet... so im hoping that if i show how well i can use photoshop, not well at the moment, ill be able to get one.

the belly and toes...also even a full moon wouldn't give off THAT much light.
Unless of course there is another light source somewhere out of view?

oh i see where you mean,but the tips of the stomach fur can still catch a little light...i think,my dogs dose anyway,
as for the extra light i though water magnifide it slightly,but i dunno

Water actually absorbs light, sure It reflects some but it was be a strange day that it increases light.

this is beautiful! i love the chracter's pose! did you use a reference for that? it looks wonderful, very good anatomy. the background is also fantastic, it looks like you put a lot of time and effort into creating it, and it really compliments the character.

My first impression was the moon, looks very good with the glowing effects, and no to mention, th tree looks very good, the reflection on the water is similar to the original and a little disturbed so it can show the artists work for it, besides, the mountains on the bottom of the background look pretty neat, and the distribution of colors in the sky looks natural, not to mention, the stones looks pretty good at the corner of the pond and the waves looks even better, the wolf facial expression is also well developed, and the shading that is bellow him looks pretty interesting, the higlights you make match with the shading so it looks the light source from the moon.

Math stuff 
1) we plan the drawing
2) you make the basic lineart and basic colors
3) I engage the lineart and colors while adding a few stuff for a BG idea
4) you grab it and engage the BG your style
5) I add the final details to the drawing and BG engagemant
6) Upload to DA so we can both share it ^^ and give credits on artist comments.
..sounds simple that way??
