Hee, tried to convey the image that was in my mind while reading the novels, cold, silent, almost frozen in time.
Tried to make it work not through the scale (and it is present) but more through those silent nuances. Thanks

Cool Cthulhu pic, I just got done reading this book for the first time and it was very interesting (gotta love the mad ship crew and their explaining about what they saw in Ryleh) and I like your idea about what you think the creature would look like. The details are wonderful and the coloring is ominous so I believe it is an excellent piece!
