Cthulu, you look so majestic in this picture. Maybe that's just my brain exploding from looking at him? Great detail in the storm and the boat, though. It looks like lightning could come at any moment, illuminating everything and the boat could tip at any time.

It is REALLY scary. I tried several time to draw underwater monsters like this but I never managed, they looked too cute. But it had nothing to do with Cthulhu.

This is a truly impressive and certainly unique rendition of Cthulhu. He seems at the same time entirely corporeal and ethereal, an amalgam of everything that is the sea while almost alien in aspect.

Beautiful and incredible! its dimensions, the fact that he is under the ocean, unknow for the humans in the ship, it gives a great impact for me. They don't know Cthulhu is under them

I love pictures like this with impossibly huge creatures beneath the ocean's waves. However, they are also the reason I don't venture out into the water farther than where my feet touch!

I say this as a longtime fanatic of H.P.Lovecraft's works, a HUGE Mythos nut, and a hardcore Call of Cthulhu gamer:
This is the best Cthulhu piece I have ever seen.
Man, this style could have also been a great Dagon piece as well.

This piece is absolutely amazing, I adore the lighting and dark atmosphere! As @Theshizirl mentioned, this is definitely like "Jaws". May I ask if you had any inspiration from the "Jaws" movie covers/posters?

This is very interesting question, and the answer is - no
Jaws actually has nothing to do with it (yup), i didn't even knew that my picture some how resemble the poster of Jaws (and i guess it does) until somebody told me, i wasn't even thinking about jaws, so no it's not jaws. But yeah, something did inspire me, first of all, Lovecraft (surprise
