Chapter 4

Everyone got inside the studio, waiting for Silverton. "Hey, dad. Do you know Silverton?" Alvin asked.
Tyler answered, "Know him? Tony and I used to go to school together."
Simon said, "You had to go to school? I thought you ditched it."
"I did," Tyler told him, "but I go one day a week so people can think I'm educated to advance. Anyway, I used to bully the kid every Friday for fun. I gave him wedgies all the time. I even did it at his wedding. Man, good times."
Vinny asked, "Have you tried to apologize to him,Tyler? I mean, some people can hold grudges."
Brian answered, "Exactly why he did two years ago. Silverton tried to call the cops, but eventually, he accepted our dad's apology," Brian said.

They went to Silverton's office as he said, "Seville, nice to see you and Vinny again. How can I…" He saw Tyler and said, "What are you doing here?!! I thought we agreed you were not allowed here!"
"Hey, I didn't want to be here either, pal, but my ex-wife told me I was needed here," Tyler replied.
"Your ex-wife?" Silverton asked surprised.
Brian said, "Yeah, Vinny is our mom. Get with the program, will ya?"
"Mr. Silverton, will you please just let us all talk with you? It's very important to us," Vinny asked sincerely.
Mr. Silverton pondered on this and finally said, "Would the Chipmunks and Chipettes please wait outside?" The band went outside and waited.

An hour passed, and the kids were getting curious.
"What do you think they're doing in there, Alvin?" Brittany asked.
Alvin answered, "I don't know, Brittany. I just hope Silverton hasn't called the police."
Jeanette said, "If he called the police, we would be hearing sirens."
"Jeanette is right. I think we should give our brothers and the girls' sisters some faith," Simon agreed. Suddenly, the door opened and Brian and his brothers came out with everyone else.
"Guys, what happened in there?" Theodore asked.
Eleanor joined in and asked, "What did Silverton say?"
"Well, honestly, it started out with some arguing, then some threats from him, and finally, he agreed to let the six of us join the Chipmunks and Chipettes band," Brian said like it was no big deal. Everyone cheered and was happy.
Bri-Borg added, "All that needs to happen is that our parents have to sign some paperwork that insures that they are taking responsibility for us."
"And that means you boys will be needing a babysitter tonight," Dave said.
"Why waste the money when you got me, Bri-Borg, and Brian to look after them?" Carlos asked.
"Because I don't trust you enough to look after my sons," Dave answered.
"Oh, get over it, Seville. I think it's a great idea. It will give the boys an opportunity to bond with each other, so they can get to know each other," Tyler said.
Vinny added, "I agree with Tyler. I would love the boys to get along, and this can really help them do that." Dave knew that there was no way to change their minds.
So, he sighed and replied, "Fine, but I don't want any trouble while we're gone. Understand?"
"As gentlemen, we do as well as sons we will," Brian answered.
Dave was confused as Carlos said, "That means we understand the consequences full well." Everyone were then heading home.

Brian said, "Yeah, Vinny is our mom. Get with the program, will ya?"

Mr. Silverton pondered on this and finally said, "Would the Chipmunks and Chipettes please wait outside?" The band went outside and waited.
