Description There Draven sat in the bundle of fluff that is Adonis’ tails, they sat there for most of the morning that they’ve been out for the final day of the festival. The first two days had been fairly fun, and watching Toms fail at some of the games was their highlight of the event, but they were worn out. But when he spotted Pigeon, Alouette, and Serendipity coming from the Fourth Moon, they hopped from their dad's tails and scurried over.

He likes his cousins, and uncle, but the three of them are always in their own little bubble, so they never get the best of chances to talk or hangout with them. Now though, he shot up at this chance to talk with them. "Allie, Seren, Pigeon!" The three turned to them, Pigeon looked as unimpressed as he always did, but Alouette and Serendipity seemed to be at least giving him a soft and casual smile, respectively.

"Hey Lil' D, finally runnin on your own?" Draven looked from Serendipity to their dad, offhandedly gesturing for her to look over. She laughed when she saw Adonis looking at the four of them, giving him a playful salute, and she stuck her tongue out at him. "That explains that. What're you doing though? Thought you'd be stickin around Uncle A."

"Well usually yes, but I was wondering if I could hangout with you guys for a bit?" Draven's ears perked up, with hope swimming around in their eyes. Serendipity reached out to pat their head, almost apologetically, as Pigeon shoved his hands in his jacket pocket. Alouette seemed to be the only one considering hanging out with Draven. And almost as quickly as it came, the hope to hangout with them dwindled. "Ah, yeah that's…that's okay."

"Sorry Lil' D. I've got…something to do." Serendipity's explanation seemed a little half-hearted, but she looked genuinely sorry. Pigeon nodded in agreement, but had started to walk the opposite direction that Serendipity was starting to head. "Maybe later, yeah?" Draven nodded solemnly, starting to turn around.

"Hey Draven." Draven looked back to Alouette, who gently held up the bag he's holding with his tail. "We can hang out, if you'd be willing to play some of the festival games." Draven's ears perked up once more, nodding vigorous. They held up their hands, pointing back over to Adonis, silently telling Alouette that they were gonna go let them know where they're going.

He dashed back over to Adonis, and hopped into the bundle of their tails. They were about to reach up and try to get his attention, when they noticed the flame that their dad was creating. It was a beautiful shade of magenta, the flames flitting around. It had almost distracted Draven from what they were setting out to do, but quickly he regained themselves, and started to climb up Adonis' back.

"Dad, dad. Dad!" Adonis looked up at their child, his magic glands slowly fading from the red, from the usage of fire magic. Adonis quirked their eyebrow, as if asking for Draven to continue. "Dad, Alouette said that I could join him in playing some festival games. Is it fine that I go with him?" Adonis looked at them, and then looked over at his nephew, who waved awkwardly at him.

"Yes, you can go hangout with your cousin. Just remember, do your best to not get hurt, don't let your cousin bully you, though I doubt that he would. Also just so you know, Toms and I were planning on going to the Fourth Moon later, so we'll be there whenever the two of you are done with the festival games." Adonis patted his kid on the head, and waited for them to get down. Draven smiled up at Adonis and nodded, and gave him a quick hug around the neck, before skittering back down and towards Alouette. "Oh! And take Ezio with you!" The mancake looked up at Adonis, before immediately following after Draven.

"Alright! Let's go!" Draven jumped joyfully at Alouette, who smiled back at them and Ezio. "So what game were you going to play first?" Draven reached up and pet the fluffy feathers around Ezio's neck, looking at their cousin waiting for an answer.

"Oh, well I'm not too sure, I'm fairly good at the ring toss. Pigeon is actually pretty good at the festival games, but he doesn't want to play any, at least not right now." Alouette pointed up at Pigeon, who was sitting up on top of the roof of the forge. "He says that it's childish."

"Pff, whatever. He's just missing out." Draven waved off in the direction of Pigeon as they passed the forge. "Dad and Toms play the festival games, and they're adults. Playing games isn't just for children, stems and adults can play them as well." Draven nodded at themself proudly, not pausing in his strides, only stopping when he stopped hearing Alouette's footsteps. He looked back, seeing Alouette just looking at them. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Alouette scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Just, you're pretty smart for a child." Alouette jogged a bit to catch up, as Draven gave him a faux offended look.

"I'm not that much of a child, dad says that he thinks I'm starting to lose my tongue magic gland." Draven stuck their tongue out as if they needed to prove it. "I just know that a lot of staxies think that in order to 'grow up' they need to stop having fun. I just don't believe that that's true, is all." Draven turned to look at Alouette with an awkward smile. "But anyways, let's continue onward!"

"Yeah." Alouette followed along, sometimes reaching up to pet Ezio whenever they would fly down close enough. "What game do you want to play? When we get there." Alouette handed Draven half a sandwich that Crow had made him before he left, that he was slightly hesitant to take in the first place.

"Oh, did uncle Crow make this?" When Draven got a nod, they exclaimed happily, "I love his cooking." They took a bite before actually replying to Alouette's question. "I'm also unsure as to what game I want to play, there's the weem fishing game, but I'm not the biggest fan of water. I also saw a balloon pop game that looked fun, and looked pretty easy." Draven tore off a piece of the bread and offered it to Ezio, who snatched it up quickly. Alouette nodded, looking at the bag of scallops he had.

"What about the mini archery thing?" Alouette offered, as they came up to the games area, and pointed to the mini archery that was set up, and being watched over by Maggie. Draven looked at it, before shrugging.

"I mean why not, but I feel that it should be something we do later, not initially. There's a chance that one of us could get hurt. And if we do it initially, it would not only throw off the vibe if either of us got hurt, but it would lead to one of us needing to be tended to and it would take a lot of time. Whereas if we do it last, we would have spent a good amount of time playing the other games, and having fun, and so if either of us got hurt we would have spent a good amount of time having fun prior." Draven stated this as a matter-of-factly, waving their arms to accentuate his point.

Alouette thought about what Draven said, it made sense, while they didn't want either of them getting hurt, the chance of that wasn't zero. And so playing that last would be the most logical, in maximizing not only fun, but also scallops. Alouette nodded in agreement, following the stump as they walked to the balloon pop game.

"We should probably play this game first, they have little baggies as prizes, and you don't really know what's in them, but I saw a couple of other stumps with some cool knick knacks in their bags." Draven paused and looked around a bit more, spotting the bell and hammer game. "If we play that one," they point at the game, "you'd probably need to be the one to do so, I can't get the hammer above my head too easily, and I'd probably fall over trying to do so."

Alouette nodded, he pointed at the ball and bottle game, "okay but what about that game?"

"Hmm, I've heard of a little trick that they use to make it harder or even impossible to knock the bottles down. They use either sticky paper, or glue to hold the bottles down, at least the base ones, so you wouldn't be able to get all the bottles down. If you were to be able to use your tail, and throw the ball hard enough, directly at the base bottles, I think we'd be able to win. You think you can?" Draven looked from the bottle game to Alouette, a smile on their face.

Alouette looked at the game nervously, "I dunno, I'm not that strong, but if I were able to, what if I break the bottles?" Alouette rubbed his arm, not that confident in his abilities. Draven jumped into his line of sight, their arms spread and tiny arm feathers puffed out.

"Don't worry about that, the bottles are made of thick glass. If you listen carefully you can hear a deeper thunking sound when they clatter in the ground. They won't break." Draven paused to think. "Also I feel you can do it, and if you can't that's fine. Toms sucked at that game as well."

Alouette chuckled at the comment, covering his mouth to hide it. "Okay, okay. I'll try, but don't be surprised if I can't do it." Alouette shook the nerves from his hands, trying to hype himself up. "Okay, so balloon pop, ring toss, maybe we could get a couple of spins of the wheel in, just to see what luck could give us. I can do the weem fishing so you don't have to, and then knock down the bottle, ring the bell. And then finally the mini archery, does that sound like a good plan?" Alouette made sure to point to each of the games he named, so that way they knew the general direction to each of them.

Draven nodded in agreement and turned to make their way to the balloon pop stall, already excited to be hanging out with their cousin. Ezio swooped down next to them as they made it to the stall, as Alouette was right behind them. The staxie running the stall was already handing Draven a few of the darts, by the time Alouette got to the stall

"Alright, be careful don't throw the darts at anyone, only at the balloons. To win a prize bag you need to hit at least two balloons that have the same color. If you hit three or four of the same color, you will get an extra mini prize for each extra balloon popped. Any questions?" Draven shook their head, as Alouette took his own darts from the stall runner, shaking his head as well.

"I'm going for green, you?" Draven threw his first dart, hitting the first green balloon square in the middle, waiting for his cousin's response.

"I'll go for blue." Alouette threw a dart of his own as well, popping one of the blue balloons. He heard Draven cheer for him, and smiled as he saw another green balloon pop. The two went back and forth trying to pop the balloons that they had chosen to get, and cheering gleefully when they hit the right color.

When they finished that game, they each had a baggy of prizes, and Draven had two extra mini prizes, and Alouette had one extra one. They both opened the bags excitedly, and in Alouette's bag were just a couple of stones that had been polished. In Draven's bag were a couple of scallops.

"Awe dang, I was hoping for something else. What's you get? I just got some scallops." Draven jokingly lamented, showing Alouette the contents of his bag.

"Oh! I got some polished rocks, they're some nice colors, but I'm not much of a rock collector." Alouette showed Draven the contents of his bag as well, the stump's ears perked up.

"Wanna trade. I already have a collection of rocks, and dad made me a chest to put them in, and it'd be great to get some more. I don't really collect scallops, I know some staxies do, but they're not my thing." Draven lifted their bag to hand it to Alouette, who smiled brightly, and handed them his bag in return. "Yes! Let's gooo. Alright next game, c'mon!."
