I sit here,
I look at my phone
I wait for a message
That I know should be
There.

But Nothing, not
One letter, not one word
From you.

I've been waiting all
Day to hear from you.
You keep me going
When I want to quit
Yet today I had no reason
To continue on.

I felt alone, and scared.
Unsure of what to do,
Or where to go. Do I
Sit here, or do I sit there?

I'm invisable where I'm
At right now. Too many
People, I get lost in
The Croud. I scream
But nobody can hear me
Over the many voices in
The halls.

Then a small ray of light
Appears, a boy emerges from
Within. He says, don't be
scared I'll be your friend.
He takes my hand and we walk.
Things are easy, we talk and
Get lost in thought.

We depart from eachother's
Company after exchanging
Numbers and promises
Of texts later.
I return to the lonely
Place that for now I
Call home.

Again I'm waiting
To hear from you but
I can't wait any longer
I message you. I get a
Reply saying you're not
In the mood to talk.
I say good night, turn my
Phone off and
Bury myself in pillows
To muffle the sound of
My tears.
