The Hex-Class was originally Imperial until the end of the Galactic Civil War. Early Orion Spur Alliance officers saw of how effective the ship was and so they kept it and the Hex-Class saw far better use than of what the Empire did. The Hex- Class almost immediately gained the respect it needed it even is still in use today! But Alas the Hex-Class was beginning to become outdated but the Orion Spur Alliance is developing a Hex II Class as a successor for the Hex-Class
