First i asked myself what is she trying to tell me and i thought why is she hiding. She must got hurt or disappointed by someone.
Then i read the description and i must say this picture says that phrase. There is one person i would look at the same way.
What did you think of by painting this? (sry if this gets to close but i'm just interested)

You felt very right about this painting.Really.It is about disaphointing in people who you trusted. But also there you can see the bright side, you know... But the lesson is that if you once disappointed you'd never "show your face" open to that person again.
