Description
One of the more stranger species of human Tar and later human Jaffa, were the Nisyti, originating on Earth from the African Sahara lands west of Ethiopia. Their prime characteristic was that they had four eyes in their head, which while making the brain cramped and a little smaller, also gave them extraordinary vision. They therefore had a vision nearly completely to all sides, with only the back of their head as a blind spot, which made them remarkable in their capability to use bow and arrow, staff weapons and all kinds of tools. While apparently some Goa’uld had tried to mix them with the four armed Tessera and Quatuotar to breed their own version of the four eyed, four armed Quatuor Species, but both individual human Tar and later human Jaffa species also had been created over time and survived. Among other Jaffa, human Nisyti Jaffa were legends, not so much because of their strange four-eyed look, but for their overall skill and abilities, living legends on the hunt and battlefields, even before they ever became Primi of any Goa’uld. As for Nisyti Jaffa Primi, they had a mythological, legendary status as professional warriors, hunters and other such professions even during their own lifetimes. Overall while a little slower in thinking, the human species made up for that with their ability to perceive nearly everything around them, be immensely capable of spotting any objects and things, moving or not and having a dept deception even more accurate then regular human Tar and Jaffa, even if not fully on pair with species like Sekhmet and technological assisted scanning, zooming, or targeting tools. Originally known mainly among African Goa’uld like Olokun, Egyptian Goa’uld like Apophis, as well as nearby Greek/ Hellenic Goa’uld and Latin/ Roman Goa’uld. Even from afar Nisyti Jaffa Elite Guards could be easily spotted, because they used an overall four eyed Snake/ Serpent Guard helmet under System Lord Apophis and his underlings, or a four eyed Reptile/ Intulo Guard helmets, which not only made them look more distinct, but also allowed them to transfer their advanced eyesight abilities into the Jaffa armor and technological advancement and assisting vision abilities elite Jaffa Armor allowed for.
Those of the Nisyti Jaffa, who had been around would overall be joining the Free Jaffa would often find themselves in high ranking command positions of Masters, Primi and similar ranks. At the same time the Nisyti special biological and genetic ability itself made it nearly impossible to teach some of their skills to others. Worse regular human Tar and regular human Jaffa, who breed with Nisyti, or one eyed Cyclopic humans often had problems with these mutations combining and would breed children, that only had part of all eyes of the parents, or deformed and misplaced ones most of the time. Few people were overall aware of the Nisyti in general, let alone Nisyti Jaffa and fewer knew that beside their skills in crafting and combat, they also excellent in technical engineering professions, as well as in piloting as well, which while good and well in Tel’tak, Al’kesh and Ha’tak, was superior in Death Gliders, were beside the sensors and computers, they also could use their better visualization and analyzing of their surroundings in dogfights for coming out on top, much more often then even other elite Jaffa Ace pilots. So while no overall good instructors and leaders, the Nisyti Jaffa were still very much liked elite forces and commanders alike, that were very much welcomed along many other Jaffa groups, Free or not and therefore not only admired, but also feared, whenever a Jaffa would have to face off against them. Their overall skills and abilities made them famous among other Jaffa, but at the same time the Nisyti Jaffa had no seat on the council directly, as while being very observant, they also were rather isolationist and sealed off doing their own things on their homeworld of Nisyt and those few other systems and worlds were they had colonies, or minority populations of theirs also existed, mainly among the African, Egyptian, Geek/ Hellenic and Latin/ Roman Goa’uld. They therefore often let other Free Jaffa leaders decide for themselves and while interested were the Free Jaffa Nation would head, they had no major opinion to participate in the votes and discussing such matters with others, as they still would to their own thing on Nisyt any way they pleased, like they had done by themselves for a long time, even under the false gods that were the Goa’uld.
