The Zelosian sentient plant from Zelos II, Ritun Din was nearly identical looking to humans and actually joined the Techno Union to research if his people had been the result of natural evolution mimicry, or genetic engineering. With more plant-like characteristics, his blood was a green, chlorophyllos sap ans alarge portion of the muscles of Zelosians were cellulose fibers, with some form of nastic response apparently being involved in their reflexes. Able to consume both vegetable and animal product-based foods, but could also photosynthesize through their skin, he could survive one to two months on only sunlight and water. Being originally night-blind, he lost his whole sight when a Republic ARC-Trooper team infiltrated the facility and caused a chain-reaction that blew up parts of the reactor and the facility, leading to devastating injuries for the Zelosian military guard in the Techno Union facility. Afterwards unable to see, Ritun Din hoped to use his other senses, as well as his tactical and strategic abilities to ensure he still could be a viable Separatist commander even without direct eye sight, as long as he would get the right information's by his organic forces and battle droids in time. This decision partly came from proud, partly because the Techno Union lacked the abilities to correctly replace the lost Zelosian organs and body parts, as clearly their plant-like metabolism and physiology was unable to get some cybernetic implants and replacements needed to completely rebuild and secure his former complete Zelosian body once more. Over the course of the Clone Wars Ritun Din would lead his Separatist forces trough a couple of battles, but his biggest achievement came, when he gained the interest of Emir Wat Tambor to build biological ships for the Techno Union, grown from special genetically altered plants and animals that would be able to heal damage done to them automatically over time and create their own energy for engines, shields and weapons biologically. Like giant space-capable animals or other organisms they would work as a fine addition for the Separatist War-machine, which was why the Jedi and Republic elite troopers from ARC Troopers to Republic Commando’s infiltrated the research facility and sabotaged the project to stop the production of the first prototype on Felucia before it even was completely finished.

Barely escaping with his own life and forced to leave the prototype behind to be destroyed by the Republic during the Battle of Felucia, Commander Ritun Din later would return to the world with some additional Zelosian volunteers and other plant species to ally with the local Felutians, jungle Felucians, Gossams, Humans, Ithorians and Twi’lek Seperatist-sympathisers and militia, as well as their wildlife and animals, like Tee-muss, Sarlaccs, Acklays and others, who were partly trained, partly turned into cyborgs with cybernetic implants to fight against the Galactic Republic forces on the world. While they put up a major resistance for the Republic and later Imperial forces it was a mostly disorganized local defense of Separatist Holdouts, local government or Separatists sympathizer militia and battle droid forces that Commander Ritun Din would aid into forming a combined, coordinated Confederate Army once more during the Liberation of the Rim, leading to the complete retaking of the world by the Separatists and the use of it as a staging ground for additional operations against nearby Republic and Imperial forces in neighboring sectors. After the battle additional Zelosian, some family members of Separatist organic forces, militia and volunteers alike settled on Felucia, some as farmers, other to work in the Mines of the Mining Guild nd other Separatist Conglomerates growing their influence on the world. Mainly however Felucia remained to be used as an agricultural world, as well as a major exporter of medicine, spice and forced labor (even if slavery officially was outlawed despite major Trandoshan, Zygerioan and Slave Trader Guild opposition to that move), despite some industries being build up and some droid and battle droid production on the world. It was therefore also not as hard hit when the droid rebellion and uprising happened and after a quick victory against the rioting droids the world became one of the earliest and safest for the Confederacy of Independent Systems to operate against droid held sectors and worlds nearby. With this the Zelosian Commander Ritun Din lead his local organic forces of mixed species origin against the Battle Droids he had fought so long side by side with once more to secure the Confederacy of Independent Systems not from outside enemies this time, but from those within.
