Description
SoarA large Hawk, looked much different than the hawks that live in my yard. They are nearly twice as thick and tall! Looked between a cross of an owl and a Hawk. Was lovely.

Birds in flight are incredibly difficult to shoot. This is really nice!
I've had better luck at reducing the aperture, and increasing the ISO just a little to compensate. I also have found that 1/300th of a second works pretty well. Unless it's an insect, or hummingbird it generally "freezes" the wings.
This is really a nice shot! I'm thinking of going out to the country to shoot some Red Tailed Hawks. I have one living a couple houses away from me but he's a bit too elusive to actually set up the shot for!

I love hawks, they are so graceful and beautiful.
That is a wonderful shot. The wings spread out like that is beautiful, the fact that you can see all the feathers is great. Just the type of thing I need when referencing wings. Keep up the great work.
