Description This really happened.

In my defense, we were ALL bantering back and forth with the waiter that night and I wasn't being mean-spirited, just joking around with him.

I think I won that night.

(And for the curious, because I know it'll be asked... yes, I do use a wheelchair and cane both depending on the situation/day. My cane's name is Kaywinnit )

Now there's an interesting discovery. And I hear you, pretty much. My mom has MS, and she's totally wheelchair-bound.

People in those chairs are often the coolest people I know.

Much love! I have a cane too; it helps me despite having Juvy Rheumatoid Arthritis. There's nothing better than being yelled at for being the punk kid using the handicapped bathroom and then out from behind the partition wall appears... Greg the Cane! Take that, dude!
