I know what you mean by the making the corresponding faces as you draw them. I doodle a lot at taco bell (free refills of baja blast, son!) and I'll often catch myself doing silly faces to get a better feel for them. If I'm drawing pictures of my son in public it's a given that I'll look insane.

That's more the expression I had watching Eragon. My face for the book was more along the lines of the 'jaunty' one on the top left.

I liked Eragon. And Twilight was written by a grown woman, whereas Christopher Paolini was 15 when he wrote Eragon. Anyways, the depth of the world he created is really quite impressive and in-universe consistency is harder than most people give credit for.

eragon was full of over the top descriptions and obviously copied off characters and elements from Tolkien
yeah he did come up with some nice names i can sort of give him credit for that
