I have to commend you on your tutorials, they are wonderful. You really know how to make people think about what they are reading rather than just preaching.
Also, I totally cannot help but mimic the expression I am drawing, I can't even stop myself even if I'm in a crowded room. I'm sure I look like a goon sometimes grinning and scowling while I draw.

Awesome reference for expressions is in Scott McCloud's "Making Comics"
All his examples are just a straight-on face pretty much but he goes through a vast range of expressions of every degree. I have that page perma-bookmarked and look at it again and again.

i love you. I really do. I've finally gotten to the point in my art where I can actually draw something without it looking like crap, so I've been *trying* to work on poses and facial expressions next. And completely totally utterly fail at it. I think this'll help me out a LOT!
