This is such a beautiful picture. I really like how the little girl is looking so bored. One thing that I might point out is that other than the girl, it's a little difficult to distinguish the bird from the background.

So pretty! I love the expressions on both of their faces. The longer I look at this the more I see in it. The sleeves on the girl's gown, reflection on the edge of the box and details in the column are amazing. I also love how all attention goes to the girl because of the high contrast of her against the darker background and bird.

Reminds me of a game I used to play on the PS2 called Ico. Don't know why but it might be the girl's delicate manner expressed with the soft whites which seems to glow in the dark background making her so angelic and serene. Loved your progression from sketch to the finished product.
