The study of any –ology
is flawed in its policy—
the excessive focus
leads to accepted hocus-pocus
and dogmatic dispositions.
No admission of fallacy,
strict empiric reality,
set in the stone, the learnéd tone, that informs these physical forms.
Restrictive confines deform
the true nature of nature as written on paper or typed
up the hyped
up pernicious constructs built
up by misguided minds corrupt.
Dead heads filled with shrill preachings drilled deep enough to embed.
Dramatic, dogmatic teachings are reaching critical mass—
Reformation shall come to pass—
Complex societies sublimate to gas.

The constructs of primates never last,
but not least,
the energy released
from the smallest of feats,
repeats,
largely on geological time-scales,
all of which pales,
to the miracle of conscious matter.
And for that matter,
will our atoms scatter,
when the seams of reality begin to tatter?
No,
I do not believe it so.
Even though logic might predicate so
—proteins though—
can spontaneously take shape,
so why not tool wielding apes
who stepped from their habitat to conquer the planet's back?

Steel and fire,
religion and high-tension wire,
all of which we have acquired
in our tenure here, yet I fear
Thanatos' draw might ignite the end of all
Life.
The ecological strife,
reapt and sown,
in greed overgrown.
