Description
After the Frankenstein piece I have been in the mood to draw a two headed werewolf and a scantily clad woman. This was a quick piece, around 2-3 hours total, so the coloring is a little sloppy but I kind of liked how it came out.

Ha ha! He went out way too fast, he wasn't worth the struggle.

That is the worse, to be born a siamese twin and get bit by a werewolf, what are the odds? Nice piece.

Thanks Steve! I wondered if he escapes the carnival in the evenings to feed or if he just is two headed freak living in the woods. I might need to make this into a comic.

It would make for a great comic only you could do justice to. Have a werewolf caugh and brought in as a new attraction at a traveling freak show, but he breaks out and bites the rest of the freaks. Then you could have werewolf midgets, werewolf pinheads, werewolf bearded lady (not that you would notice the change), werewolf contortionist, the world's fattest werewolf, the world's thinnest werewolf, etc. You get the picture.

I actually have a story written out and its kind of similar to that. I should really try and do it.

Back in the day, when I was going to comic conventions to show my portfolio to editors in hopes of comic work, I would do sample comic pages. I'd always make them kind of weird like Archie comics drawn in IMAGE style or something, but my favorite one was SUPERMAN VS. PUMKINEAD

That would rule! And as for Archie in Image style? Genius! I love the really subvertive comics that are on the shelves now! Have you read Bodybags? It's by Image, but it's totally like early 90's Dark Horse; it has that bold early 90's drawing style, and the violence is totally like in the Mask comics (the cool ones, not the kiddy friendly ones).... a great read!

Thats funny because Bodybags was originally published a while ago ( at least the first 2 or 3 issues were until he stopped for years and then started picking it up again) Yea, I like his books a bunch.

I just love the really amoral comics that couldn't care less if they upset the apple cart! I mean, don't get me wrong, Spider-Man and stuff are really fun too (God only knows that reading Marvel saps my wages!), but the Indy stuff is always that little bit more..... visceral!

Yea, I totaly agree. I really only buy the independent stuff and stuff from IDW and Dark Horse. Sometimes you see a great artist though and have to pick up the book, regardless of the content.

Yeah, I agree. I read everything I can about Spawn; I suppose he treads that line of "is it mainstream or not?" because whereas everyone knows Spider-Man (and rightly so!), Joe Public knows very little about Spawn. I agree about IDW though, great publishers! Have you seen the New Line Horror comics with Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface in?

Yea, I've been picking those up but I'm a little mixed on them. I think they look cool but some of the stories are so simple that it bothers me. I like the Freddy one so far though.

I like the Freddy one, but Jason is my all time favourite movie slasher, so he gets the unfair advantage! I know what you mean about the simplicity.... it's like watching the movies in panel form, but I suppose that all they promise is gore with the New Line Horror franchise, and they deliver that by the gallon! Plus, the comics are WAY better than the Jason X novels..... if you haven't read one, think yourself very lucky!

I've wondered about picking up one of those novels, now I'll stay clear of them. Thanks for the warning.

My pleasure! The one I read had Jason being resurrected from swamp muck, and then driving a car! About three or four chapters in I just stopped for fear of losing faith in good ol' Jason!

Totally.... he ain't Michael Myers! I dunno, maybe they might have redeemed themselves later in the book, but bu then they'd already done enough damage! They had him laying out body parts into the shape of arrows as well to lure people. How major league dumb is that?!

Man, whoever wrote that just doesn't get it. I can't believe whoever owns the rights would let someone do that. I guess they just don't care and want our $5 for the book.

I agree. If I had a property out there I'd be so particular about what gets made! I certainly wouldn't "George Lucas" it up by having Yoda dressed as Santa and crap like that!
