I'm a selfish dreamerDreaming of happiness
Dreaming of some perfect world
I dream for myself
I dream of being a hero
In a world I call home
Sometimes the world crumbles
Quickly I make a new
Before my thoughts are lost.
Again hero in my selfish dream
Always as a sort of omen
My world falls apart
I flee to the movies or books
Where I make the world
Give it any color
Give the character my hopes and dreams
Let him fulfill them for me
Dreaming a world to get away from here
I'm a selfish dreamer
But don't we all dream?
