We've been scornedtossed about.
Our feelings tread on
as though they were nothing.
We fell in love
but had a spike run through
our heart.
We are poets
Our thoughts
Our feelings
joys
and sorrows
are best worded
in lyric
If we offend you
tough
if we hurt you
so sad
We have been broken
we have seen the pain
and felt the hurt.
We will not be walked on
starting now
We are standing up
and making ourselves known!
We will not be rolling over
to let you by.
