Description
all strivingfor some place to call home
a place to hang our hat
to put our heart
striving
trying
so very hard
for something material
while the spiritual passes by.
cling to what we can hold
forget all we were told
as long as I can touch it
feel it
change it
it's real.
I want nothing else
but to hold
but once i can't
let it be known
my heart had it's chance
never will it be whole.
