"Down with the rules!"

My submission for NATG XI: Day 14! Today's prompt was "Draw a pony up to no good / Draw a pony breaking every rule in the book"! So here's a radical anarchist Dash! My first idea for this was actually some silly pun around a pony breaking a collection of measuring rulers or something. But then this idea of Dash in this pose with a black anarchy mask popped into my head and I couldn't get it out until I drew it, so I knew I had to go for that instead xD

I would've loved to draw her in more of an outfit, especially a hoodie or something. I totally should've done that, actually. But it didn't occur to me until I'd finished flat colouring and I didn't have the time or effort in me left to add it. Still, pretty happy with this piece. I'm a sucker for an "buck the rules" style Dash; there's no way this girl doesn't just do her own thing. I mean, what're you going to do, catch her? She'll just speed off xD
The new pose was quite interesting to do. Particularly figuring out how to get the pose right for the bat over her shoulder. Like, how's the arm supposed to sit? How's the hoof supposed to "hold" the bat? ^^' I think it came out looking fine. But yeah, was very not sure about it xD And put in the effort to cell shade it, because I felt like it needed that extra mood lighting or whathaveyou. Definitely glad I did!
