By the way, let me just ask you something, did you add the blue tones directly to the color version, converted the image to black and white and added duo/tri/quad tone, or what?

awesome tones, but perhaps a bit less dark in the ocean an the 2 persones on the beach would stayed better, in my opinion, ayway a briliant shot

The colours of course gorgeous, like all your shots. And I love when water makes the sand look like highly eroded, smooth rocks. I feel my feet digging into it.
