Hooplas and Ringzions were the first kirby species/subspecies(?) i've ever made and i guess i never touched their designs or lore since 2020 but i can thank these past windy days for reminding me of them (which a cold windy day was when i made them)random facts:
- both hooplas and ringzions are constantly spinning their tail rings to create energy/power
- some hooplas "evolve" into ringzions if they produce a lot more energy than other hooplas
- hooplas have different ranks, one tail is a common hoopla, 3 tails is knight rank and 9+ tails is royalty rank (anything in between is rounded down, ex. 6 tails=knight rank)
- ringzions are seen as living deities and are in charge of defending the kingdom
- they all live on a large cumulus cloud
- you'll know if a large group of hooplas and/or ringzions are nearby if the wind makes an audible whoosing sound
and...
- they're the only characters/species who's lore i've never changed, not once
