Midterm project for my Art 112A: Intro to Animation/Illustration picture. We had to do a huge charcoal reversal piece where we blacked out the entire canvas with charcoal dust (basically we just shaved compressed charcoal sticks with a razor and rubbed it on with paper towel) and used different erasers to remove the charcoal. So i guess you can say this is a drawing that i erased :D or maybe this is an "erasing" :DDD

Anyway, heres the original picture. Found on Flickr [link] (I /think/ hes a shoemaker... it seems obvious..)

This took me approx 27-30 hours and got a 98% (A+)!!

Couldn't have done this if not for friends keeping friends company in the art building~
