Divinity Essence, otherwise called Divine Essence, is the eldest daughter of Rarity and Fancy Pants.
She is a rather head-strong mare, who will rarely, if ever, take no for an answer; as soon as she sets her eyes on something, she will do everything in her power to get it.

In her youth, she was heavily pampered by her father, alongside her sister, Clarity. Anything they could wish for would come true.
Their mother was not impressed by this and insisted that the siblings should understand the value of material possessions.
Even with Rarity's intervention, Divinity grew up to love shopping- especially when it came to designer items. In her teenage years, she frequently returned home with several bags full of pricey goods.
This all followed her into adulthood as she continues to spend absurd amounts with little care.

I decided that I wasn't in favour of Divinity's old art- yes she looks almost identical, but I feel like she looks so much more flattering in this piece!
