Description
I want to a be a feather.
I want to come down slowly,
land gently without the slightest impact.
I want to fall to the ground gracefully,
lose hope with my head held high,
and defy gravity even as I'm losing.

I want to be the rain.
I want to slam down with such a force that I explode,
landing down so hard that I'm everywhere.
Emotions are so complicating,
they're everywhere, everything,
and all at once, like the rain.

I want to be a bird.
I want to show people that I can be higher,
soar higher than I thought I could.
Even if I won't live as long,
I want to be so free for once,
and just let everything fall away and fly.

I want to be so many things.
I want to believe that being anything but me
would make me happier.
But I know the truth inside,
I know that I'm glad I'm myself,
that I'd never, ever trade away everything I have for anything else.
