Description
The idea for this piece came from an actual statue in the Versailles palace gardens which I found funny because it looked a little like she was looking at a smartphone.You can see the original statue here:Β bit.ly/2t4Orh9
I went to high school in Versailles, so you could think that it's autobiographical but I actually did not have a phone back then, neither did I hang out in the palace gardens.
Also... pigeons!

I love your composition!Β I've always been kind of fascinated with the gardens at Versailles, and I think pigeons are really cute.Β I can only find nine of the birds, though.Β

Thank you very much. Composition was the focus of the class and I've really learned a lot. It really enabled me to tie everything I already knew together.

Β Now this is just too darned gorgeous to be allowed: I also like the humour inherent in this youngster having the sheer audacity to be so oblivious to such a beautiful scene that they have their eyes glued to their mobile as they pass through downright gorgeous surroundings!
