Felt like drawing some human!Espio and some glowy things. Allll the overlays!Shadow the Hedgehog was not one of my favorite games, but I LOVED the Chaotix in it. They had their own mission, but they seemed like the only ones behaving like friends towards Shadow, thinking he's cool, preventing people from taking advantage of his amnesia, and cheering him up when he thinks he's a weapon. Good guys Chaotix.
Meanwhile Sonic and co. are just like 'lalala space adventure. What do you mean you don't remember us? Not like we'll tell you your tragic backstory that was broadcast to the whole world two games ago~!'
We never learn who the Chaotix are working for in that game. I like to think they were just doing a charity mission to uncover the secrets of Shadow's past for him. (Maybe they secretly hope they'll get paid later on. :V) The dude's brain damaged, he could use a helping hand or three.
Mad Matrix was one of the most tedious levels in the game, but it was glowy and pretty to look at. I liked it. :>

I always loved how two of the most serious characters in the game got the most annoying boss battle of all time.
