#4: Demise/The Imprisoned

First and foremost, if this picture looks like I didn't give much of a damn... you'd be right!It's not that I didn't really care, more that the character's design was way out of my comfort zone artistically, plus all those little scales were just a total bitch to draw and color and all that for a character I really am not that crazy about? Yeah, I wasn't gonna drive myself crazy trying to give it my all so I kinda phoned it... I'm not sorry.

To be honest, while I don't have a problem with Demise and I see what they were going for with him... I find him to be rather superfluous. Why? Well, if we're to accept the plot and time line that was so haphazardly forced upon us, Demise IS the origin of Ganon. He was made to explain what Ganon IS... which seems very pointless to me, especially in how they did it.

Essentially, they describe that Ganon, a timeless entity of pure malice and evil originated from Demise... a... timeless entity of pure malice and evil... but he looked like Akuma from Street Fighter. And as awesome as it is to see Link fight Akuma, the whole thing seemed kind of dumb. And in case you're wondering why a bad ass like Demise is only ranking at 4, and thus under Ganondorf (soon to come, it's not like it's a surprise, we all know he was coming up) that's why.

So, Demise... you're cool... you look like the cross between Akuma and Sweet Tooth. You do what you do. The Imprisoned... you can suck my dick for all those obnoxious fights! That is all!
