I usually never ever ever do this, but decided to do a Cats portrait in color - with colored pencils. This Demeter is in the current Russian Cast of Cats... I think. Well, I was gonna draw this one like I normally do (black and white), but I really liked the color. So, I decided to do what I rarely do and make a color picture. The art store was closed so I had to go to Wal-mart and get some cheap Crayola colored pencils (which ended up irritating me because they are too soft and break very very easily.) I did my best and it took around 4 or 5 hours - Just watched an old cheesy action movie while I did it (Omega Cop?). The scanner jacked around with the color a little bit but oh well.This drawing is roughly 6" inches wide. (Like most of my newer ones.. very small.. so it's hard to keep sharpened lead for detail. Not to mention these friggin' colored pencils.)
The last time I did a color drawing was in the middle of Highschool a few years ago. Maybe other colored pencil pictures are in the near future.

That's incredible, your drawings are amazing to begin with, and then add color (with crayola none the less) and wow, just...wow. That's amazing. Her makeup looks great, and it really resembles the picture. I love how you did her wig, the color really makes it pop!
