Magnolia Talbot (left) and Margaret Macgregor (right) have been best friends since they were little girls. Margaret frequently visits her friend over in the general store. Today they're having some fun with bubble gum. Not only are they trying to see who can blow a bigger bubble, they are having some fun there with Margaret's little brother, Jason (center). Apparently, the kitten doesn't know who to focus his attention on.

I sat on this piece before deciding to go ahead and do it. This was difficult for me to do, but not because of technical challenges. It was of a personal nature. Jason's distracted focus there was based on one of my own personal experiences. A similar situation occurred years ago with one of my cousins and her friend. I wonder if that had any effect on me...
