It's more of the angle of view....most shots of him are on a upward slant because of the other characters being short....I used a pic of him sitting down to reference......makes him look shorter

Oh cool. I don't like a lot of the Robotnik stuff out there, but this one looks rather neat. Nice job on his hands, I love him in that, 'A-HA!' pose.

Very nice pic, really like all the effects on it 
Also, I perfer to call him Robotnik as well since Eggman doesn't sound near as good. Eggman was Robotniks nickname in Japan but once Sonic Adventure came out, they just kept it so it stuck.
But some people (like the French) still call him Robotnik.
