My new desktop wallpaper
Fantastic job. I love the colors to death, so simple and so elegant. Especially the solar panels.
TG2 for the planet, I'm assuming?

Thank you. Glad to hear it is in good use I rendered everything in terragen2 planet, ISS and the sun. Tho the sun had to be postworked extensively

I'm coming after you soon for a tutorial on making clouds like that.
Watch your back, boy.

Hahaha. I dont think a tutorial is needed. Planetside forums has all the tips/resources/knowledge needed to make a scene like this.
The idea in a nutshell is that I used around 5-7 cloud layers that had placements driven by image maps with Y plan projection to determine right scale. And then those were mixed with different procedural displacement functions to gain some fluffyness to the clouds.

Thank yo!. All here is rendered with terragen 2, I'm not a Vue user at all..

Yeah I dont think its possible to do this kind of thing in blender without extensive postwork. Perhaps lower orbit shot like above clouds tho.. Atleast that should be possible..

ok, the clouds are beautiful. the lighting is wonderfull and the scale of it all is humblingly amazing. NASA or ESA should use this on their sites.

Excellent job on the Earth, especially the clouds there's no such thing as upside down or right way up once your'e in space, the people inside that station wouldn't know any different anyway
