yeaaah, more Fenris with women, cuz my eyes so tired to see all this yaoi...><. Yaoi is everywhere!!!! *facepalm* Call me gomofob, if you want so, but girls, seriously, what's going on with you?about drawing:
Was inspired by the song of one of my favourite rock bands - Linkin park. It calls "with you":

It's still uncompleted piece *some items need more details*, but however i 've drawn it for one evening, without references, using another, absolutely new for me colouring technique. So be patient, guys, i'm still learning and try to find out my own style.

This is sooo refreshing to see, like what the last comment said... to see the contrast of the red and white is sooooo nice. It really brings more to the picture than the typical contrasts of red and black or black and white. I love it!!

I do have to agree with you.. it's "ok" to see yaoi a couple of times (sometimes) ... but almost every pic i see of fenris now is with a m!Hawk. I wanna see f!Hawk & fenris! & yay u did that! beautiful piece.

I don't like the sorta Rivalmance Title, but I can still appreciate the beauty of this piece.
The colours and textures are amazing and I really like the glow effect from his sword and her staff.

About the yaoi, I must say that I like it and it doesn't bother me at all, but this doesn't mean I don't like "straight" couples 8D And thus, I understand what you mean when you say you're bothered with all yaoish fanart xD

I quite agree with you on the yaoi thing. I don't mind a little bit, to each their own after all, but when it is everywhere you turn and the pairings in various fandoms frequently dip into paedophilia and incest, it can make you really dislike yaoi. But for the most part, it's simply frustrating that I can no longer look up fanart of certain games on Deviantart due to certain stomach churning pairings. (Anyone familiar with the yaoi pairings of Assassin's Creed or Devil May Cry will know what I mean. They will also know what I mean if the word "Fenders" means anything to them *gags*)
Rant aside though, I think this picture is absolutely beautiful. I love the emotion portrayed, along with the lighting and the way the rain is falling around them. Overall, excellent job.

lol. Yes, Fenders is the one pairing in the Dragon Age fandom that really, really annoys me. I don't mind FenrisxM!Hawke so much. I won't read it since I prefer F!HawkexFenris as well, but I don't mind its existence because it's not out of character.
So I suppose the main reason for my annoyance is when people alter a character and ignoring key things to the point of that character being nigh unrecognizable. I fit into the category of gamers who is in it for the story, so I guess it feels like ignoring such key things for the sake of fulfilling some fantasy is almost an insult to the writing team for the game.

But yes, Fenders has to be by far my most hated pairing (more than VergilxDante, and that's not easy to do). It wasn't too bad when there were only a couple of pictures here and there. I could easily ignore it and move on to pictures I liked better. But now that the pairing has increased in popularity for some INSANE reason, I can't bring myself to look up Fenris fanart for fear of seeing some of the more explicit Fenders pictures that make me nauseous.
It kind of makes me wish that more people used that one fanart site for their fanart, at least over there they have a filter for such things.

Not only is it wonderfully detailed but I really like seing both of their weapons. A reminder sort of that she's a mage and he usually doesn't like them because of what he's been through. And that he clearly loves her anway. Very sweet.
