Just some concept art for the main antagonist of Kivuli and Kuba's story. The two lions hail from this large nomadic pride that is weird, erratic, and unpredictable. The hierarchy is very strict and females are dominant over males, with Alpha here being considered the matriarch. Yes, she is a "maned lioness". I originally did not want her to be a maned lioness because I feel like they are way over done and over used in art, so I really did not want to trip and fall into the same fandom. But this character kind of created herself and she decided she needed a mane. -shrugs-

I personally love her. I just love her construction and proportions. She doesn't look as skinny and malnourished as an outsider should but I love her anyway. Her face came out particularly well.

I quietly like to label this girl as being Kivuli's mother. But Dellz and I have to sort that out, since Kivu is her character. She also made the design for this lion, which I really appreciate. Keep an eye on her account, there will be adoptables posted to her toyhouse if not DA. DindellaTheDefender she's the best.
