I really like this painting! Nice use of complimentary colors and I like how the green of the tree really stands out. 
I think you could really push the details more. For example, really define the footsteps in the snow or the bark on the trees. It would enhance this already charming painting. Also define where your light source is coming from. 
I also think there are some problems with the perspective on the house. For example the top edge of the windows on the side of the house with the door should be parallel to the bottom edge of the roof above them. Also both the bottom edges of the chimney should be parallel with the lines of the roof. I hope I'm making sense. 
And maybe try and push the atmospheric perspective of the painting as a whole. The trees and the mountains in the background could be desaturated and darkened a bit to really separate the background. Even the red of the house could be desaturated to really separate it from the red of the small child's coat. Then the emphasis will really be on the two figures with the tree. 
Overall, you've created a beautiful scene. Seeing this made me wish for the holiday season again.
