I've been debating redesigning Hecate to fit into my new universe... The only real obstacle was how she would happen, but f it, she's canon now (she was my favourite of the old ones so I'm carrying her over)!

Name: Hecate
Nicknames: Cate
Gender: Female
Parents: Discord and Twilight (biological), Spike (adopted)
Occupation: No one really knows what the hell she does

Hecate was born when Twilight and Discord were experimenting to find ways for interspecies couples to have biological children, since most interspecies couples are biologically incompatible, and for same-sex couples to be able to do the same. Eventually, they came up with a device to collect DNA from both parents, and then magically grow the fetus into their biological child. There is an option to implant the fetus into the mother as well, though it makes no difference. Discord and Twilight tested it to make sure it worked, and thus, Hecate was born. It was agreed that Discord would get to raise her, since technically Hecate is an illegitimate child, so she would not be able to inherit the throne even if she grew up with Twilight. Hecate dearly loves her 'auntie' Twi and her aunt Fluttershy, and is happy living with her two fathers and her younger sister, Indigo Clutter. Twilight and Discord's invention is now in hospitals all across Equestria, and same-sex/inter-species couples are immensely grateful for it. Cate is a master of organized chaos; she's messy but everything is always in the same place. She's sporadic, spontaneous and can't really turn herself off. She's super extra without even realizing it and multiple times Discord and Spike had no idea how to get her to slow down for a minute so they could do something else.
