animation for my design studio 3.this is a short 2d animation tittled"smile". the animation explores the emotional journey of a depresive teenage girl. this include metaphorical visual representations of her emotions and her attempts to end her suffering

I've got a very close friend that has teeter-tottered on the subject of suicide several times.
as sad as this was, it was absolutely beautifully done.

Wow. Very dark and surreal take on our own insecurities, and how they can sometimes overwhelm us.
I was almost reminded of Silent Hill at some points, mostly because of the look of the girl's "Self-Perceived Self", and the feeling of unease the crowd generates with their imaginary whispers.
The Scream was probably the biggest heart-jerker, though.
