Description I had a TON of notes on Arms and Hands, and fingers. I grabbed what I thought was most important for this tutorial. It was a pain in the butt to place things in some dicernable order, so I hope it doesn't confuse!

ENJOY!!! <--I love that emoticon!

Is it because it was too big?

I dunno...I could see the image just fine on the computer, but when I tried to print it, I could only see a broken .jpeg.

Have you any notion how GRATEFUL I am to you for posting this? I have a hard time with hand positions, and sometimes shoulders and arms, so this helps a bunch

I hope you don't mind if I put this in my favorites folder for reference?
I'm off to visit your gallery as well

It won't be for some time. I still haven't compiled all the data I want. This has been going on for 7+ years. So...it won't be anytime soon I will likely announce it here when i do .

Wow... look wut I got in mind... me and my friend Alex would like to start a big Resources website. We're gonna do tutorials on digital art. But hand-drawing.. no way! And maybe you could be part of it if you want... but I would have to talk to him firstly.

I have no problem with that. There was a someone who used my tutorials here for her website called [link] .

I absolutely love you. o_o

I was looking up some male figure tutorials earlier (I have the absolute worst time with males) and I stumbled across your tut, looked around a bit and found this one. These tutorials you have here are a tremendous help, much more than others floating around.

One question, though... will there be a foot tutorial in the near future? I could use one of those, too. xD

By the way, fav'd and watch'd. =3

I have a male and female tut as well.

Yes...foot and leg are coming up as well as....fat and skinny.

I have no idea how I found you on Deviant art but i'm so glad I did! Your tutorials (and rants) are fantastic! Thanks to you I may be brave enough to actually place one of my drawings on Deviant art because I've certainly got better since going through your tutorials...well thats what my family and friends have told me anyway.

D-Angeline In reply to ??? [2006-12-09 03:02:42 +0000 UTC]

I agree with twistedmentality...this is a very helpful tutorial, since I think it is between hands and noses that are hardest for me to draw.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Snigom In reply to D-Angeline [2006-12-09 21:19:52 +0000 UTC]

I have trouble with hands too. I used to have trouble with noses. Hands I think are hard because if thier immense complexity and noses are hard because they are a cheif source of beauty in a person's face. It is difficult to decide what or what not to draw of the nose!

thanks for some more good stuff. i dont know if any one else feels the way i do but i appreciate the time you are taking to do these tuts.

thanks

Snigom In reply to twistedmentality [2006-12-09 21:16:08 +0000 UTC]

That really means alot to me Twisted. It does take almost all day to do these. I have to pour over my notes and find the best ones. Then re-draw them (in some cases), scan them in, reposition each one and try to get it all to fit. If you notice they keep getting bigger and bigger lol!

Ringrazia il alot. Lo apprezzo.

Sorry, I tried to use 'Babble fish' to say 'thanks alot' in Itallian! I hope it's not too bad.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SerenaVerdeArt In reply to Snigom [2006-12-09 23:01:07 +0000 UTC]

eheh, well, in italian the first part doesn't make sense at all (babel fish is so funny sometimes ), but the second one is ok
In italian "thanks a lot" is like "Grazie mille", that literally means "Thanks thousand"
And your welcome is "di nulla", so...

di nulla!!

Me too on both counts! I have all these notes, but when it comes time to draw hands and/or feet in cool wild postions...I loose it it sucks
