Pitt Artist Pens on Sketch Paper

I pick subjects out of memory or imagination and don't much keep the two separate. Personally I'm usually playing with materials and I need something to aim for. What doesn't much matter to me some days. My aim was to use a limited palette -- variety of grays, sepia and black -- and try out these not so cheap pens, the goal being to see if I could make distinctions between trees and rocks. Didn't quite hit my mark but learned a lot.

Yes, I just go to the store and buy pens and paper that interest me and then go get a cup of coffee and try them out.
